French Shopping Paradise

This is my little French "shopping" paradise. I bought this house for about 30 Euros. It is not a very big house. Every room is 21 cm (wide), 17 cm high, 8cm deep. It is a Reuter Display house (Reutter Porzellan). And yes the house has a cream plastic facade. Maybe I can paint it.
The roof is my biggest problem! Any ideas what I can do with the roof? I don't like the red colour of the tiles! Maybe I find some ideas in Lea Frisonis book: "Le grand livre de la maison miniature". New roof tiles?
Sorry this photo is not very good (to dark). What do you think about a little French balcony? For the house I don't need a lot of furniture! Only some shelves! My idea is to have a mini shopping paradise with 3 or 4 departments (toy, parfume...).

    Das Haus ist eigentlich sehr hübsch... und das Dach würde ich mit Ölfarbe... vielleicht in creme/braun/rot... anmalen. Durch die Ölfarbe bekommt man einen leichten Shabby-Eindruck. Eigentlich müsste die Farbe auf Kunststoff halten.

    Le livre de Léa est une source d'inspiration, ainsi que son merveilleux blog.
    La repeindre oui, avec une sous-couche comme du GESSO et ensuite si vous trouvez des peintures de marque Humbrol, elles tiennent très bien.
    J'ai hâte devoir la suite.
