Yesterday I painted my bedroom walls and the ceiling with the cream paint tester.
Of course I will distress them later....
I had also some problems with my house. There is a big crack in the back wall (photo 2) and so I have to change my "wallpaper plan".
The solution is: no wallpaper for the sidewalls and only wallpaper for the back wall. I will do also wood panelling (not to much pink "Toile-de-Jouy" wallpaper for the wall because I have also rose bed linen!).
Have a great day
Sonja

ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper is a great solution to cover the crack in the wall. Surely it will be perfect in your hands.

Hello Sonja,
ReplyDeleteI really like your project. Seems that it will soon look very nice. I have one question: how do you distress paint? I have a project too and I have no idea on how to distress the painting of a room. The actual colour for the shop is light grey and the room upstairs is yellow.
You can see my project at;

It's a French shophouse ( a tailor's shop) with a living room upstairs.
Thanks if you can help, I am a new miniaturist
Have a nice day
Patrick
