Yesterday I went to Antwerp / Belgium.
And there I saw the perfect sewing machine lid for
my haberdashery shop!
The lid is in super condition! No marks or woodworms!
I bought it directly. I promised Wim and Maritza van Soest to do
a nice haberdashery shop and to send photos of the shop.
I am really happy about the new lid. And now I can say good bye to the
old one!!!
The shop front matchs also to the lid. I like the decoration on the glass.
I will save the name Naumann and cut the hole on the back.
I am not sure about the colour of the front side. Any ideas???

The two pieces are a matched made in heaven. Perfect! I think a weatherd dark walnut with grey accents would look wonderful. And some tarnished brass for door handles! I love your ideas!
