I have done a little cross stitch beach house.
It is a mini kit by DMC.
The size is approx. 7,5 x 7,5 cm.
The beach house is on 14 ct Aida fabric.
Do you think it is possible to do it smaller?
It was my first criss stich project.

30 count silk gauze with single thread would make the design approximately half the size, 40 count would be even smaller but you'd need to do petitpoint. 60 count would be extremely tiny but would need silk thread. I'd love to see you make a tiny one! Do you have silk gauze? I could send you a small piece.

I have no silk gauze. Do you really think I can do it? Is it not to complicate for me? I bought me today on ebay 2hand embroidery magazines with little nautical motifs. I need some practice before I start this project. What type of needle do you recommend?
